Albert Teske

Albert "Bert" Teske, 82, of Berlin, husband of Joan (Pickett) Teske, passed away Sunday (November 9, 2008) at Ridgeview Healthcare Center in Cromwell.  A New Britain native, he lived in Berlin since 1960.  Bert was a graduate of New Britain High School and served with the US Navy in World War II.  He was a life member of New Britain VFW Post 511 and also belong to the American Legion Post in Berlin and the Austrian Donau Club in New Britain.

            Besides his wife Joan, he leaves three sons, John Teske of Southington; Brian Teske and his wife Ruth, also of Southington; and Jack Teske and his wife Jackie of Marlborough; a daughter, Bobbie Ann Gorneault and her husband Robert of Berlin; a sister, Lorraine Wodecki of New Britain; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services are Friday 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Cemetery.  Calling hours are Thursday evening 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Britain Salvation Army, 78 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051.  Please share a memory or note of sympathy at http://www.carlsonfuneralhome.com/
