Angelo J. Insalaco

Angelo J. Insalaco 75, of Proctorville Ohio formally of New Britain, CT and Pompano Beach Florida passed away Thursday October 23, 2008 at St Mary's Hospital in Huntington West Virginia.  Born in New Britain CT he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Magnano) Insalaco.  He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.  He was a life time member of the VFW Post 511 New Britain, CT and was an active member of the American Legion Post 36 Ft Lauderdale, FL, Marine Corps League #340 Huntington, WVA and VFW Post 6878 Proctorville, OH.  He is survived by his wife of 21 years Jo Ann (Snoderly) Insalaco, children; Mary K. Insalaco of Plainville, Dori A. Insalaco of Mystic and Linda and Mark Fongemie of Kensington,  Jo Anna and Todd Riley of Proctorville Ohio, Michael and Mary Pieri of Akron Ohio and Wendy Barker of Barboursville, West Virginia; grandchildren; Paul A. Mangiafico, Leah and Adib Paone, Haley Fongemie, Sienna Conti, Eric and Mackenzie Riley, Jessica, Grace and Isabella Pieri, Jared Booten and Brooke Barker;  great grandson Evan Paone; sister; Jane Wilkinson of New Britain (formally of Orange);  nephew, Dr. L. Alan Wilkinson of Pittsburgh, PA; and a niece, Mary E. Wilkinson of San Antonio, TX.  Services will be held Thursday November 6, 2008 10:00 am at St. Ann's Church 47 Clark St., New Britain CT.  Interment immediately following at St Mary's Cemetery 1309 Stanley St. New Britain CT.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your charity of choice.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
