Katherine Elizabeth (Sutton) Jones, 87 of Elizabeth Court Rocky Hill, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2008 with her loving family by her side.

Katherine was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gaffney) Sutton and was the widow of Charles "Chuck" Jones.

She and her husband lived in Berlin for more than 40 years, after 27 years as an executive assistant she retired from the Hartford Insurance Group. Katherine was an avid member of the Garden Club; she loved to travel, loved to read and was devoted to her family.

Mrs. Jones is survived by four children, William Jones and his wife Christine of Glastonbury, C. Taylor Jones and his wife Diane of Middletown, Martha J. Chapman and her husband Michael J. of Cheshire, Sharon J. Huxley and her husband Richard of Bethany; eight grandchildren Steven and his wife Hope Chapman, John and his wife Michelle Chapman, Michael and his wife Liz Marie Tamborini, Jason Tamborini, Sandra Tamborini, Alexandra Jones, Neil Jones, and Robert Huxley.

In addition to her husband Charles, Katherine was pre-deceased by a brother John Sutton, and two sisters Jean Schoeberl and Dorothy Holt.

Friends and family are invited to call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington on Wednesday. November 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

On Friday, November 14, 2008 at 10:00 am everyone is invited to go directly to St. Paul's Church 467 Alling St. Kensington to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will follow at Maple Cemetery in Berlin.
